“Her”story

Forever My Sister's Keeper Women's Organization and Conference was the dream of Dr. De'Edra Lewis-Johnson. Immediately her sisters and friends Mrs. Tshenia Stevens and Ms. Tiara Gantt eagerly join with her to create a reality. From this group of 3 outstanding women and a small committee the Fall 2004 conference was a dream come true. The day long conference was held in Richmond, VA.

As 2005 came De’Edra and Tshenia continued to do positive work and move forward with planning the next event. For October 2005 Forever My Sister's Keeper planned a "Girlfriends Weekend Getaway" in Reading, PA for sisters to enjoy. Ladies came from near and far and experienced the exciting, relaxing and stress free weekend with new and old friends! An outstanding time was had by all.

So, with such great beginnings and positive women these events promise to be events that women will look forward to attending for years to come! And the rest is “her”story in the making.

The symbol of Forever My Sister's Keeper is the butterfly. The butterfly experiences a metamorphosis and emerges beautiful. The beautiful butterfly, like a woman, soars and embraces all that life has to offer.

The mission of Forever My Sister's Keeper is to promote "sisterships", stimulate the mind, empower the spirit, and enjoy the exhilaration of being a woman.
